MIUI Screen recorder is a freeware application which lets you record whatever takes place on your Android phone s screen. An excellent application to document everything that takes place on your phone as needed, and that also performs particularly well in terms of saving recordings onto your device. Recording is straightforward; all that is required is that you simply connect the camera or micro SD reader to your computer and then begin recording. As the software is a freeware it comes with various limitations such as being unable to record video, or reading the memory on some of the Android devices. The one positive point to this software is that it can be used on many different types of devices, including smartphones, tablets and Windows mobile phones.
Once the screen recorder is loaded on to your device, simply launch the application, which will start recording. Once started, a simple floating window will appear on your Android screen, from which you will be able to view your recording. From here, you can switch between different screens, switch to different cameras or microSD readers, zoom in and out, open a PDF report, or start recording. At the end of your recording, you will then be able to view it on your Android device, and play back the recording using any of the popular media playing applications.
There are several other useful features which are provided by the paid version of this application, which may also be downloaded from the Google play store. Features include screen wipes, which enable you to take a screen shot of whatever is on the screen at the moment, as well as the ability to slow down the internal audio recording of the device. This allows you to better understand the recording, as well as being able to adjust various aspects of the recording, such as volume levels and panning. Other helpful features include notification alerts, which notify you when certain features of the application have been activated, and also the ability to share the screen capture to your friends.
